Is There an Airport Hotel in Miami?
Yes. Right inside the complex sits the Miami International Airport Hotel, often shortened to the MIA Hotel. It is the sole place to sleep within the airport itself, tucked onto the second level of Concourse E in the Central Terminal. With ticket counters, shops, and duty-free outlets just steps away, it suits a long layover or an overnight stop perfectly.
Tip: The terminals are walkable, but most of them connect only on the landside. Because this hotel also sits before security, anyone who has just landed will have to clear the checkpoint again before the next departure.
Miami Airport Hotel Rooms
Choice runs from standard rooms through deluxe categories to full luxury suites. There are 259 in all, each kitted out and styled in a modern look. Expect generous space, bright accent colors, and full soundproofing that keeps the airport hum outside.
For a solid night's rest, rooms come with blackout curtains and Sealy Posturepedic mattresses. Accessible rooms feature too, thoughtfully laid out for guests with disabilities.
Note: This is a non-smoking property. Lighting up inside the rooms or anywhere on the premises is strictly forbidden.
Miami Airport Hotel Amenities
Everything you would hope for is in place. Wi-Fi reaches every corner at no charge, and a fully equipped business center adds meeting rooms and space for events.
Hungry guests have two choices on site. Air Margaritaville pours signature margaritas and cocktails alongside Caribbean and Mexican-inspired plates. The farm-to-table spot, Viena, plates up fresh cooking in a relaxed setting, with sweeping views over the runways and the city skyline.
Since the building stays landside, both overnight guests and passing travelers can use the restaurants and bars. Parking is on offer as well, with reserved bays in the Dolphin Garage carrying an extra fee.
Additional Notes:
- The hotel is entirely non-smoking.
- Pets are welcome for an added charge.
Miami International Airport Hotel Rates
What you pay shifts with the room category and the date you book, landing somewhere between $170 and $350 (around €158–€326). Reserving early can bring lower prices, and booking straight through the hotel's official website often throws in breakfast. These figures are indicative only — live rates move with demand and the season, so confirm the current price on the official airport hotel listing before you book.
Need a few hours rather than a full night? Day-use rooms run from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at cut rates, when space allows.
