This is an independent, unofficial travellers' guide to Miami International Airport (MIA). This page explains how we research, write and maintain our content.
Independence
We are not operated by or affiliated with the Miami-Dade Aviation Department, any airline, or any hotel. Our editorial content is never paid for or sponsored. Some pages include clearly labelled booking tools or affiliate links (for example, airport-transfer booking); these never influence our editorial recommendations.
Our sources
We draw on official airport and operator information, transport-operator websites, public regulatory sources, and first-hand traveller observation. Where a figure can change (fares, opening hours), we note the kind of source and when it was last checked.
How we write
We aim to be specific (exact platforms, fares and times), practical for real journeys, honest about limitations, and current. We avoid filler and marketing language.
Human editorial review
Every guide is researched, written and reviewed by a named human editor before publication, and fact-checked against official sources. We may use AI tools to assist with research and drafting, but a human editor is responsible for every published page. Our editor for this site is Daniel Reyes.
Reviews and updates
Pages with information that changes often (fares, schedules) are reviewed about every six months; more stable topics are reviewed yearly or whenever we learn of a change.
