Shuttles and Buses from and to Miami Airport
A wide network of buses serves Miami International Airport, linking MIA with nearly every corner of the city. All told, 9 Metrobus lines carry airport passengers who are watching their budget. On top of that, Greyhound coaches set off from the airport area on long-distance routes to places such as Key West and Marathon.
No on-site bus station exists here. Every service instead runs from the Miami Intermodal Center (MIC), sitting 1 mile (1.6 km) away. Getting there is fast and simple aboard the free MIA Mover, which leaves every few minutes and reaches that transit hub in just 4 minutes.
This Metrobus fleet is modern and accessible, fitted with comfortable seats plus free Wi-Fi, so it works well for travelers keeping costs down. A Miami Airport shuttle bus connection therefore covers most journeys without a heavy fare.
Our Tip: the city's free trolley network also stops at the Miami Intermodal Center. Its Flagami Route runs Monday to Saturday from 06:30 am until 11:00 pm, with no Sunday service.
