Miami International Airport (MIA) is a major American Airlines hub, and it has around a dozen lounges spread across its concourses. They range from American Airlines Admirals Clubs to the American Express Centurion Lounge and several Priority Pass options. This guide covers the main Miami airport lounges, where they are by concourse, their hours, and how to get in.

American Airlines Admirals Club (Concourse D)

Because MIA is an American Airlines hub, the Admirals Club is the most widespread option, with two locations in Concourse D. One is on the third floor above Gate D15, open daily from 5:30 am to 10:30 pm, and the other is across from Gate D30, open daily from 5:00 am to 10:30 pm. If you do not have membership or a qualifying ticket, a one-day pass costs about 79 US dollars or 7,900 AAdvantage miles, subject to capacity.

American Express Centurion Lounge (Concourse D)

The American Express Centurion Lounge sits at the east end of the North Terminal, near Gate D12, and opens daily from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm. Access is for primary and authorized holders of The Platinum Card from American Express, rather than a pay-at-the-door lounge, so it suits travelers who already carry an eligible Amex card.

Priority Pass and other lounges

If you hold a Priority Pass, MIA gives you several choices, including the Avianca and TAP lounge, the Club America Lounge, and the Turkish Airlines lounges. The Turkish Airlines lounge in Concourse H, on Level 3, admits Star Alliance premium passengers and Priority Pass members. There is also a Delta Sky Club in Concourse H, inside the H to J connector, open daily from 4:45 am to 8:45 pm for eligible Delta travelers.

How to get in

There are several ways into a MIA lounge:

It is worth checking your credit card benefits first, since a Priority Pass or direct lounge access included with the card can cover the entry cost.

What you get inside

A MIA lounge gives you a calmer space with complimentary food and drinks, free Wi-Fi, charging points and work areas. The premium options, such as the Centurion Lounge, add hot dishes and a fuller bar. For a long connection through Miami, that comfort and free catering can be well worth it.
