Parking at Miami International Airport
Parking at Miami International Airport is straightforward and convenient. MIA offers multiple parking options to cover all passenger needs, including two main garages, short-term parking, a budget-friendly lot, valet services, and dedicated pick-up areas. Depending on your terminal, budget, and length of stay, you can easily choose the most suitable Miami airport parking option.
Our Tip: Due to the rapid increase in passenger traffic in 2022, parking availability at MIA can be limited, especially from Thursday to Saturday. New parking facilities are already planned to address this issue.
Miami Airport Parking Lots
The two primary parking facilities at Miami International Airport are the Dolphin Garage and the Flamingo Garage. Both are located in the center of the U-shaped terminal complex and are within walking distance of the terminal entrances.
- Dolphin Garage (North Parking): Best for passengers departing from Concourse D (North Terminal) and Concourse E (Central Terminal). Recommended for travelers flying with American Airlines, British Airways, JetBlue, and Qatar Airways.
- Flamingo Garage (South Parking): Ideal for passengers flying from Concourses E–J (Central and South Terminals) with other airlines.
Together, the two garages provide approximately 7,500 parking spaces and feature an electronic guidance system: green lights indicate available spaces, while red lights show full areas.
Our Tip 1: A two-story short-term parking lot is located directly in front of Concourse E, ideal for quick airport visits.
Our Tip 2: Oversized vehicle parking is available on the east side of the Dolphin Garage.
